SELF-SERVICE KIOSKS / about
About us
Our technical story began in 1996. Today, SIA TASK.LV brings that experience to software, self-service kiosks and automation. The legal entity was registered in Latvia in 2011; our engineering roots go back further.

1996 — curiosity becomes a craft
Our story starts with the desire to understand how things work. A computer was never just a sealed box: behind its screen were circuits, instructions and possibilities. That practical curiosity still guides us. We begin each project by listening, asking precise questions and finding the real problem behind the request.

Understanding every connection
A reliable digital service begins with physical details. A connector, a power supply or a peripheral can shape the whole experience. We bring software and hardware thinking together, tracing the path from a user's touch to the device's response. The aim is a system whose parts cooperate predictably.

Software with a human purpose
Technology becomes useful when people can use it with confidence. We design clear interfaces, explain system behaviour and consider accessibility from the beginning. Behind a simple screen can be complex integrations; our job is to make that complexity manageable for customers, operators and the people who maintain the service.

From an idea to a working kiosk
A kiosk brings many disciplines into one physical product. Enclosure, display, payment peripherals, drivers and application logic must fit together. We approach the project as a complete system: define the task, assemble a suitable configuration, test interactions and prepare the solution for its intended environment.

Built for the places people work
The real test begins outside the workshop. A reception area, a shop or a production floor each has its own pace and constraints. We consider installation, connectivity, user flow and service access so that the equipment can become a useful part of everyday work rather than another obstacle.

Automation that connects the process
An isolated machine can perform a task; a connected system can support an entire process. We connect devices, data and business software around clear operational goals. Monitoring, error handling and recovery are part of the design conversation, helping teams understand what is happening and how to respond.

Responsibility beyond launch
Launching a solution is the beginning of its working life. Remote management, updates and support help keep the system understandable as needs change. We discuss maintenance and responsibilities before delivery, so that the people operating the equipment know where to turn and how the next improvement can be made.

The next chapter starts with your idea
Since 1996, technology has changed its shape many times. Our starting point remains practical: understand the task and build something useful. From Latvia, SIA TASK.LV brings software, engineering and support into one conversation. Tell us what you want to automate, simplify or connect — and we can define the next step together.
